The Quotes tab in the SalesThumb mobile app lists all of your shop's quotes, newest first. Two cards at the top point you to the quotes most worth chasing: ones the customer hasn't opened, and ones about to expire. Tap any quote to open it.
Opening Quotes
Quotes is part of the Sales side of the app. Shop owners always have it, and so does anyone whose mobile access includes Sales. Without it, the tab says "Sales access needed".
At the top, the Quotes and Invoices switch moves between your quotes and your invoices without leaving the tab.
Searching and filtering
- Type in Search number or customer… to find a quote by its number or the customer's name.
- Tap the Status filter to show one status: All, Draft, Sent, Viewed, Approved, Declined, Expired or Converted.
Each card shows the quote number, a status pill, the customer, the vehicle, the total and the date it was created. The list loads more as you go. Pull down to refresh.
Quotes that need a follow-up
The NEEDS A FOLLOW-UP row lists quotes that were sent at least 3 days ago and that the customer still hasn't opened. Each card shows the quote number, customer, total and how long ago it was sent, such as "Sent 5d ago". Swipe the row sideways to see more. It only appears when there's something to chase.
Quotes expiring soon
The expiring card shows how many sent or viewed quotes expire within 7 days, such as "3 expiring within 7 days". It lists up to four, each with when it expires ("today", "tomorrow" or "in 5 days"), and a line such as "+2 more expiring soon" when there are others. Tap a quote to open it and send it again.
Creating a quote
If you can create quotes, a Quote button sits next to the round thumb button. You need Sales access plus permission to create quotes or manage pricing. See Quoting, invoicing and booking from your phone.
To mark a quote approved or declined from the phone, see Marking a quote approved or declined from your phone.
