Common questions
Does SalesThumb have an API?+
Yes — a read-only REST API is live today: GET endpoints to list and look up customers, appointments, and invoices, authenticated with a Bearer API key from Settings → API Keys (reference at /docs/api/rest). It can't create or change data yet. Outbound webhooks push events to your endpoint as they happen. For BI, a read-only Postgres replica option is on the roadmap.
Can I request a new integration?+
Yes. Email hello@salesthumb.com with what you'd like connected and how you'd use it. Customer-pulled requests jump the queue.
Are integrations included in every plan?+
Integrated card payments, Cloudflare R2 storage, the iCal feed, CSV export and import, ShopMonkey import, VIN decode, and outbound webhooks are included on every plan. Two-way SMS and email sends start at Starter (Basic has no outbound SMS or email). QuickBooks Online and Google Business Profile need Growth or higher. Some upcoming integrations (SSO) ship with the Pro tier; others (like the Postgres read replica) are still being scoped.
Is there a developer portal?+
Not yet. We're focused on first-party integrations and a stable webhook stream first. A formal developer portal with SDKs and per-integration docs follows once a partner ecosystem exists.
Does SalesThumb integrate with the payment processor my shop already uses?+
No — SalesThumb replaces it rather than connecting to it. Every shop gets its own merchant account through a short, processor-hosted application (SalesThumb Payments) with one bundled, tier-based rate, instead of a separate Square, Clover, or CardConnect account and a separate processor bill.
