Common pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes: 14 days free on Basic, Starter, Growth or Pro, no credit card required. Pick a plan above and the trial starts when you create your shop. When it ends, your shop moves to the Free plan and your data stays. One trial per shop and per person. The HQ and CRM/Franchise Sales add-ons aren't included. Card billing isn't self-serve yet, so to keep your plan, our team sets up billing with you.
Why do Growth and Pro cost more than TintWiz or OrbisX?
Shop software this deep (60+ features, 40+ AI features, multi-location HQ tools, and a mobile app for both staff and customers) is priced alongside Tekmetric ($199–$439/mo per shop month-to-month, or $179–$409/mo billed annually, per its public pricing), not the entry-level range. We're priced for serious shops who want serious tools — and to keep new features coming at the pace you're seeing.
What's the difference between Growth AI and Pro AI?
Growth includes the everyday AI helpers — the My Day summary, inbox sorting and reply drafts, next-service ideas, help filling cancelled slots, and booking from a plain-English request. They run on smaller, faster AI models, so they're cheap to run. Pro adds the heavier AI: photo AI (a starting quote from a photo, a quality check on job photos, photo captions) and multi-step tools (the AI assistant, dispute help, sorting warranty claims). The AI month-in-review is included on every plan, Basic through Pro. The Growth/Pro split follows what each costs to run — photo and multi-step AI cost 10-20× more per use than text-only AI.
Can I start on Starter and add AI later?
Not as an add-on — the everyday AI helpers (the My Day summary, inbox sorting and reply drafts, next-service ideas, help filling cancelled slots, booking from a plain-English request) start on Growth. Photo AI and the AI assistant stay Pro-only because they cost more to run.
Do I need HQ if I have 2+ shops?
Not required, but most multi-shop owners want it. Without HQ, each shop runs its own SalesThumb workspace independently. With HQ, you get the cross-shop dashboard, franchise-fee (royalty) totals, a payment file you upload to Chase Business Online to collect those fees (Chase accounts only — otherwise record payments by hand), messages to every shop, lobby TV slides pushed to every location, and one service list managed for every location — all on top of the per-shop subscriptions.
What's included in the SMS allowance?
Every text your shop sends counts as 1 toward the allowance; replies from customers don't count. Basic doesn't include outbound texting. Starter includes 500 a month, Growth includes 2,500 a month, and Pro includes 10,000 a month. A text volume pack for big group campaigns is coming soon — in the meantime, raise your spend cap in Settings to keep sending past your allowance (extra texts are billed as overage).
How does the Founding 50 offer work?
The first 50 shops to sign up and maintain active merchant services through SalesThumb lock in 50% off Growth or Pro for the first 12 months, then full price. The Founders' discount applies to Growth or Pro only. Basic and Starter get their own intro offer instead: 20% off the first 3 months, open to everyone. Your Founding 50 slot locks in automatically the moment your merchant account goes active — no need to reach out for that part. There's still no self-serve subscription checkout of any kind, so contact us via /contact when you're ready to actually start billing and we'll set it up already reflecting your discount.
Can I migrate from ShopMonkey, TintWiz, OrbisX, or Tekmetric?
Yes. The CSV importer brings over customers and vehicles from any of those tools. ShopMonkey shops can also connect a ShopMonkey API key to import appointments, invoices, payments, and estimates. Do you offer non-profit or volume discounts?

What payment methods do you accept for my SalesThumb subscription?
Card billing for SalesThumb subscriptions isn't live yet — our team sets up billing with you. Your own customers pay you through SalesThumb's integrated payments, which settle to your bank minus your plan's processing rate.
What happens if I cancel?
Plan changes and cancellations are handled by our team — email info@roffik.com or use /contact. You can export your data (CSV or JSON) from Settings any time before you go.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee on any tier. Onboarding is self-serve via the setup wizard, and you can email info@roffik.com with any questions along the way.
