Not required, but most multi-shop owners want it. Without HQ, each shop runs its own SalesThumb workspace independently. With HQ, you get the cross-shop dashboard, royalty calc, ACH payouts to franchisees, broadcast messages, chain-wide signage push, and central catalog management — all on top of the per-shop subscriptions.

Yes. The setup wizard imports customer + vehicle + appointment + invoice data from CSV exports of any of those tools. Most single-location shops migrate fully within 10-14 days; multi-location chains take 1-2 weeks because the catalog remap is per-shop. Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) for monthly and annual billing. ACH and wire transfer are available for annual and Enterprise contracts. Your own customers pay you directly through your payment processor — SalesThumb never touches that money.
You can cancel any time from /app/settings/billing. We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months, but you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Data export available for 60 days post-cancellation.
