Watch: How to mark a quote approved or declined on the SalesThumb mobile app (0:36)
Customers don't always answer a quote by tapping the link you sent. When they say yes at the counter or no on a call, record it on the quote yourself so your follow-ups and reports stay accurate.
Find the quote
- Open the Quotes tab in the mobile app.
- Search for the customer, then tap their quote.
Mark it declined
If the customer said no, tap Mark declined. The quote moves to Declined, so it stops showing up as something to chase. Anyone on your team can mark a quote declined.
Mark it approved
If the customer said yes, tap Mark approved. The quote's status changes to Approved.
These two buttons appear while the quote is still a Draft, Sent or Viewed. Once a quote is approved, declined or converted, they go away.
Turn it into an invoice
When you're ready to bill, open the approved quote and tap Convert to invoice. The invoice carries over the quote's line items.
Who can do this: marking a quote approved and converting it to an invoice both need the "record payments" permission, which Owners and Admins have by default. If you don't see those buttons, ask your shop owner to change your role or permissions under Settings → Team.
