Two cards on the HQ Settings page act on every location at once. Service & Liability Waiver — org template fills in waiver text where a location has none. Product news for locations shows or hides the What's new feed across your network. Both are for HQ owners and admins to change.
Getting there
In the HQ sidebar, click Settings under Admin. Both cards sit above the grid of settings tiles.
Push a waiver template
The card shows a bar labeled Shops with their own text, such as 3/5 shops. Below it, locations with no waiver text are listed as No waiver text yet, four at a time, with a "+N more" line after that.
- Paste your waiver into Waiver text to push. While the box is empty, Load sample text fills in a starting point.
- Decide whether to tick Also require customers to sign before viewing or paying the invoice.
- Click Push to N shops.
A toast confirms how many shops received it. If every location already has text, the button reads All shops already covered.
What a push never does
It only fills gaps. A location that already has its own waiver text keeps it, however it was written. Its signature setting is left alone too.
Leave the box unticked and the push adds text only. Each location's own signature setting stays as it is. Tick it and the locations that receive the text also start requiring a signature before the customer can view or pay an invoice. A push never turns that requirement off for anyone.
Replace the placeholders first
The sample text has bracketed placeholders for the shop name and state. SalesThumb doesn't fill them in for you. While any remain, the signature box can't be ticked, and the server refuses a push that requires one. The card also shows a notice that SalesThumb isn't a law firm and that you should have an attorney review the text.
Product news for locations
Under Product news for locations, the checkbox Show "What's new" to locations is on by default. Clear it to hide the What's new feed at every location in your network. That includes the unread badge on the profile menu and the new-feature card. Tick it again to bring them back.
Other members see the box greyed out with an "Org owners/admins only" tooltip.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Will a push overwrite a location's own waiver?
A: No. Only locations with no waiver text receive it.
Q: Does pushing make customers sign?
A: Only if you tick the signature box. Otherwise each location's setting is unchanged.
Q: Can I take back a waiver I pushed?
A: The card has no undo. Each location can edit its own text on its own settings.
