SalesThumb ships updates regularly, and there are three places to see what changed: the What's new page inside the app, a small What's new pop-up card that appears for new feature drops, and the full public changelog. Anyone signed in to your shop can open them, on any plan.
Opening the What's new page
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the app.
- Click What's new.
The page shows the current release only. At the top you'll see the release name, a version number badge, the date it was published, and a short summary when there is one.
Below that is a list of what's in the release. Each item has an icon, a title, and a one-line description. If an item points to a specific part of the app, it has a Try it link that takes you straight to that page.
If nothing has been published yet, the page says "No release notes published yet. Check back soon." If a release is published but has no items listed, you'll see "No items listed for this release."
To leave the page, click Back.
Seeing the full history
The What's new page only covers the latest release. For everything before it, use the salesthumb.com/changelog link at the top of the page. It opens in a new tab.
On the public changelog:
- Updates are grouped by month, newest first.
- Only the most recent update is open when the page loads. Click any other update to expand it and see its full list of changes.
- Each change is tagged New, Improved, Fixed, or Security, so you can skim for the kind of change you care about.
- If you use a feed reader, click the RSS link near the top to subscribe and get new entries automatically.
The What's new pop-up
When there's a new batch of features to point out, a small card titled What's new can appear in the bottom-right corner of the app a moment after the page loads. It shows one feature at a time:
- Click the feature (or its Open link) to go to that part of the app.
- Click the small dots at the bottom to flip between the features in the batch.
- Click Full changelog to open the public changelog.
- Click Got it or the X to close it.
Once you close the card or follow one of its links, it stays hidden for that batch of features on that browser. It comes back only when a new batch is announced.
The pop-up doesn't appear on narrow, phone-sized browser windows, while you're working through the first-time setup wizard, or while a Sales Matrix presentation is on screen.
