Reading the HQ dashboard: tiles, funnel and location cards

A top-to-bottom tour of the HQ dashboard: the four network tiles, the Close Rate Funnel, the Locations card and where each card takes you.

5 min read

The HQ dashboard is the first page you see when you open HQ. It is a launchpad: every card links to the page that has the detail. This tour goes top to bottom. It needs the HQ add-on.

Open it

In the HQ sidebar, click Dashboard at the top. You can also switch to HQ from the workspace switcher. See Switching between your locations and the HQ dashboard view.

The header

Your logo (or an icon), the org name, a badge reading Franchise or Multi-Location, and a line such as "HQ dashboard" with the number of locations. On the right are three buttons:

  • Reports opens HQ Reports.
  • Scorecard opens the Scorecard section of Reports.
  • Invite user opens the Users page.

Until first-run setup is done, a Complete your HQ setup card shows a count such as 2 of 4 and opens the setup wizard. You can hide it with the X.

The four network tiles

  • Revenue, last 30 days, across all locations. Opens Reports.
  • Appointments, last 30 days. Opens Reports.
  • Customers, all time. Opens the HQ Customers page.
  • Average Ticket, last 30 days. Opens the Scorecard.

If you don't have access to financial reports, Revenue and Average Ticket show a dash and the note Needs financial reports access.

Network health brief

Below the tiles is the Network health brief, an AI summary you generate by clicking Brief me, with Refresh to run it again. See Reading the AI HQ Network Health brief.

The second row of tiles

  • Seats in use, with a note if there are pending invites. Opens Users.
  • Fleet customers. Opens the Customers page filtered to fleets.
  • Webhooks active. Opens HQ Settings.
  • Inventory transfers, On or Off. When it's On the tile opens Inventory Transfers. When it's Off it opens HQ Settings, where you can turn it on.

Close Rate Funnel

Across all locations over the last 30 days: Sent (quotes sent), Closed Won (quotes approved) and Close Rate, which is Closed Won divided by Sent as a percentage.

Cards that only show sometimes

  • Royalty & marketing fund: shows once there is a royalty period in history. It shows the latest period, with This period due, Collected, Outstanding and Lifetime, and opens the Royalty page.
  • Franchise Sales pipeline: only if your org has Franchise Sales. Opens the pipeline dashboard.
  • Franchisee risk: Franchise orgs only, for Org Owners and Admins. See Reading the Franchisee Risk score in HQ.
  • Locations to call this week: up to five locations whose revenue over the last 30 days is below the network median, lowest first. Each row shows its percent of the median. When no location is below the median, the card doesn't show. For networks of 4 or fewer locations, a note says the network comparison is hidden instead. See Comparing locations and tracking underperformers in your HQ network.
  • ShopMonkey integrations need attention: appears only when a connected shop is failing to sync.

Locations

The Locations card lists your shops with two views, switched by the Revenue and Billing buttons:

  • Revenue ranks locations by revenue over the last 30 days, with the payment count.
  • Billing shows each location's city, state and customer count, with a badge: HQ bills or Self bills.

Click a row to open that location's profile. Add opens the add-location dialog, and Manage opens the Locations page. If you have no locations yet, the card says No shops linked yet and offers Add location.

Top customers

The last card lists the highest lifetime spend across every location. View all opens the HQ Customers page.
