Flat Glass leads is your follow-up list for home and business window-film interest captured on the Sales Matrix kiosk. Near the end of a kiosk session, the customer can say they want a free estimate for their home, their business, or both. Each one lands here with the rooms, photos, and notes the rep collected, so whoever calls them back has the details in front of them. It works on every plan.
Opening the inbox
In the sidebar, open the Flat Glass group and click Flat Glass leads. Owners, Admins, and Managers see this group. Every shop gets it, not just flat-glass shops.
The newest leads are at the top, and the page shows up to 50. If nothing has come in yet, you'll see "No Flat Glass leads yet for this shop."
Filtering home vs. business
Use the buttons at the top right:
- All: every lead
- Residential: only leads with a home request
- Commercial: only leads with a business request
Reading a lead card
The top of each card shows:
- The customer's name, or Walk-in (no customer linked) if no customer was attached to the kiosk session
- Their phone and email, if on file
- When the kiosk session started
- A session badge: Captured (the session was finished), In progress, or Abandoned
- A follow-up badge: Contacted or Visit booked. No badge means nobody has reached out yet.
Below that is one block per request, labeled Residential or Commercial. Each block can show:
- The total window count, plus a chip for each room or area and its count
- Interested in: the needs the customer picked
- Photos: thumbnails taken at the kiosk. Click one to open it full size. Up to 8 show, with a "+" count for the rest.
- Notes for the estimator
If the customer tapped through without adding anything, the block says so and suggests you reach out to qualify them before scheduling.
Two buttons sit at the top right of the card. Customer opens their customer record (only when a customer is linked). Open session opens the kiosk session the lead came from.
Marking a lead contacted
After you call or text the customer, click Mark contacted. The button changes to Contacted, a Contacted badge appears, and the time shows next to the buttons. Click Contacted again to undo it and put the lead back to new.
Scheduling the site visit
- Click Schedule visit.
- Check the Visit date & time. It starts on the next weekday at 9:00 AM.
- Click Confirm visit.
The lead gets a Visit booked badge and is marked contacted too, if it wasn't already. When the lead has a linked customer, SalesThumb also puts a one-hour "Flat Glass estimate visit" appointment on your calendar. It goes on your first active bay or installer. If that one is busy at the time you picked, it moves to the next free hour. If nothing is open within 8 hours of the time you picked, no appointment is made, so check your calendar. If you have no bays or installers set up, the appointment is added without one.
Walk-in leads get the Visit booked badge, but no calendar appointment, because there's no customer to book it for.
To undo, click Visit scheduled. That sets the lead back to contacted. It doesn't remove an appointment that was already created, so cancel that one on the calendar if you need to.
Customers on account hold
If the customer is on account hold, the schedule box shows a red "This customer is on account hold" warning with the reason. To book anyway, tick the box to confirm you've reviewed it, then click Confirm visit. Only an Owner, Admin, or Manager can override a hold.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Where do Flat Glass leads come from?
A: From the Flat Glass step on the Sales Matrix kiosk. When a customer says they'd like a free estimate for their home or business, the rooms, photos, and notes the rep captures show up here.
Q: Does Schedule visit put anything on my calendar?
A: Yes, if the lead has a linked customer. It adds a one-hour Flat Glass estimate visit on your first active bay or installer, moving to the next free hour if that time is taken. Walk-in leads only get the Visit booked badge.
Q: What does Walk-in (no customer linked) mean?
A: The kiosk session wasn't tied to a customer record, so there's no name, phone, or email to show and no calendar appointment can be booked from the lead.
Q: Can I undo Mark contacted or Visit scheduled?
A: Yes. Click Contacted to put the lead back to new, or Visit scheduled to put it back to contacted. Undoing a visit doesn't cancel an appointment that was already created.
Q: Do I need a certain plan for this?
A: No. The Flat Glass leads inbox works on every plan.
