SalesThumb doesn't add its own hold or delay on top of your payment processor's deposit schedule — but "a few business days" means something different depending on how the customer paid.
Typical timing
- Card and PayPal payments — deposit the next business day (T+1)
- ACH payments — deposit four business days out (T+4), since ACH itself takes longer to clear
- Refunds, chargebacks, and returns — settle T+1
Cutoff times
Each day's batch has a cutoff — a payment processed after it rolls into the next day's batch instead:
- Card and PayPal: 11:00 PM ET
- ACH: 9:00 PM ET
A few other things worth knowing
- You'll get one deposit per day, not one per transaction — every charge that settled that day is bundled into a single deposit to your bank account.
- There's no self-serve daily/weekly schedule toggle inside SalesThumb today; the timing above is the standard schedule for every shop.
- For the exact timing on a specific charge, check Reports → Deposits — it shows your real deposit history straight from the processor.
