The SalesThumb mobile app has two screens for shops that belong to a franchise or multi-location group. HQ Pulse compares revenue and health across every location in your organization. Royalty shows what your own shop owes HQ. Both are view-only, and both are for owners, admins, and managers. HQ Pulse needs the +HQ add-on on your organization.
Opening the screens
Tap the round thumb button at the bottom of the app to open Go to, then look under Reports:
- HQ Pulse: "Compare locations across your org"
- Royalty: "Statements, payments & credits your shop owes HQ"
You can also open HQ Pulse from the HQ Pulse shortcut at the bottom of the mobile Dashboard.
Both tiles only show for Owners, Admins, and Managers, and only when your current shop belongs to an organization. Other roles who reach either screen see Manager access needed. On a shop with no organization, the screens say HQ Pulse is for franchises or Royalty is for franchises.
Pull down on either screen to refresh it.
HQ Pulse: revenue by location
The top card shows Org revenue · last 30 days for the whole organization and how many locations it covers.
Below it, Shops by revenue ranks each location. Each row shows:
- Its rank and name
- The number of payments and the average ticket
- A bar and percentage showing its share of the organization's revenue
- Its revenue total
This section only shows if your organization role can view financial reports. If it can't, the section is hidden. If your organization doesn't have +HQ, you'll see "This feature isn't included in your shop's current plan" instead.
HQ Pulse: Network Scorecard
The Network Scorecard looks at the last 30 days. It opens with the Franchise Health Index, a score out of 100, plus the location count and average revenue per unit (AUV). Five chips show the network's Completion, Repeat rate, Utilization, Royalty comp., and Review conv. percentages.
Each location then gets its own card:
- A colored dot for its overall health: green at 75 or above, amber from 50 to 74, red below 50
- Trailing 12-month revenue (TTM) and revenue for the last 30 days
- Completion: green at 85% or above, amber from 65%, red below
- No-shows: green at 5% or below, amber up to 10%, red above
- Repeat
- Royalty, with the number of overdue statements if there are any
- Customer count, average lifetime value, and review conversion
The health score averages completion, repeat rate, royalty compliance, and review conversion. It also gives credit to locations in the top quarter for 12-month revenue.
If you can't see financial reports, the dollar amounts are left off the scorecard and the rest still shows.
Tap a location card to switch into that shop. The shop you're in now is marked Active.
If your account doesn't have HQ dashboard access, the scorecard area shows a "missing a permission" message instead.
HQ Pulse: Needs Attention
When your organization has more than one location, Needs Attention lists the lowest-earning locations from the last 30 days (up to five). Each row shows the location's revenue, its percentage of the network median, and how far below the median it is in dollars. If every location is at or above the median, it says so.
Royalty: what your shop owes
The Royalty screen only shows your own shop's numbers. It needs the View financial reports permission. Without it, the screen tells you to ask your owner or admin to turn it on in Settings → Team → Permissions.
At the top:
- Outstanding balance: what's still owed across your statements. Waived and written-off statements don't count.
- The next due date and amount, or All caught up if nothing is owed
- Lifetime paid, Year to date (paid), and This month (total due on statements created this month)
Below that:
- Statements: each period with its statement number, due date, remaining balance, and a status such as SENT, PARTIAL, PAID, DISPUTED, or WAIVED. Newest first.
- Payment history: each payment's period, date, method, and amount. The 10 most recent show first. Tap Show all [number] payments to see the rest.
- Credits & adjustments: shows only when HQ has added credits. Each one is marked Pending, Applied, or Voided.
You can't record payments from the app. HQ records payments and credits. If there are no statements yet, the screen says HQ will generate one at the end of the first reporting period.
