Booking Link in the SalesThumb mobile app shows your shop's public booking page link and lets you send it from your phone in a couple of taps. It's built for front-office staff: text it to a customer who just called, email it, or drop it in your social bio so customers can pick a service and time on their own.
Who can use it
You need sales or manager access in the mobile app. If you don't have either, the screen says "Front-office access needed" and the Booking Link option doesn't appear in your menu.
Opening Booking Link
- Tap the round thumb button at the bottom of the screen to open Go to.
- Under Sales, tap Booking Link.
You can also get there from two other screens:
- On Waitlist, when nobody is waiting, tap Open booking link.
- When you're creating an appointment and your shop requires a booking deposit, the form shows a short deposit policy note with an Open booking link button.
Sharing the link
The screen shows your booking link in a box under the heading Let customers book themselves.
- Tap Share booking link.
- Your phone's share sheet opens with a ready-made message: "Book your appointment with [your shop name]:" followed by the link.
- Pick how to send it, such as Messages, email, or a social app, and send it the way you normally would.
If you close the share sheet without picking anything, nothing is sent.
Checking the page before you send it
Tap the link box itself (the one with the small open-in-new icon) to open your public booking page in your phone's browser. This is a quick way to see exactly what the customer will see.
Tips for using the link
- Text it to a customer right after a phone call so they can pick their own time.
- Pin it to your Google and Instagram profiles.
- Put it in your email signature or website.
If the link doesn't show
- "Couldn't load booking link" means the app couldn't reach SalesThumb. Check your connection and tap Retry.
- "This shop doesn't have a booking page set up yet" means you need to set up online booking first. Do that from the web app. See Customizing your public booking page.
Sharing the link doesn't turn on online booking. If you haven't switched on Accept online bookings in your booking settings on the web, set that up before you send the link to customers.
