What this page is for
Jobsite photos is meant to hold your before / during / after photos for each Flat Glass project, captured from the mobile app while your crew is on site. You'll find it as a "Jobsite photos" card (with a "Before / during / after by project" subtitle) on the main Flat Glass page, alongside cards like COI tracker. In the sidebar, that main page is the "Projects" entry under the Flat Glass group.
What actually works today
Right now this page does one thing: it lists your live projects. "Live" means anything that isn't CANCELED or COMPLETE — so planned, mobilizing, in-progress, and QC/punch-list projects, plus anything on hold, will show up here. This list only pulls from your projects, not your bids — a bid doesn't appear here until it's been awarded and turned into a project. Each row shows the project name, project number, and status, and tapping a row takes you straight to that project's detail page. If you don't have any live projects yet, the page tells you plainly: award a bid to spin one up.
The part that isn't built yet
Photo capture itself is not live. There's an amber "Photo capture coming soon" notice on the page, above the project list, saying photo upload from the mobile app is still in development. Don't go looking for an upload button, a camera icon that does anything, or a photo count next to each project — none of that exists yet. The project rows show a generic camera icon as a placeholder, not a count of photos on file. If an earlier version of SalesThumb ever showed you a "0 photos" badge here, that badge was never a real count of anything and has been removed rather than kept around looking authoritative.
What you can do in the meantime
There's a "How to capture photos" button on this page that links to the general Help page — it's a shortcut to find guidance while the feature is still being finished, not a working capture tool. Until photo storage ships, keep doing jobsite documentation the way you already do (phone camera roll, a shared folder, whatever your crew uses today) and treat this page as a status/navigation surface: a fast way to jump into any live project, not a photo gallery.
The gotcha to know about
Because this page pulls straight from your live project list, it will only ever show projects that are still active. Once a project's status flips to COMPLETE or CANCELED, it drops off this list — so if you're trying to find a project here after the job wrapped, it won't be here; go to the project directly instead. And since there's no photo count or gallery preview anywhere on this page yet, don't rely on it to tell you whether photos exist for a project — it can't, because nothing is stored here today.
