My Earnings in the SalesThumb mobile app gives you a quick look at your own pay. It shows the hours you've worked this week and your estimated wages, plus the jobs, tips and commission you've earned this month. It only ever shows your own numbers, and you don't need manager access to see it.
Opening My Earnings
There are two ways in:
- Tap the Profile tab and scroll to the Pay section, then tap My Earnings. Everyone can use this way in.
- If your mobile access is set up as an installer, you can also tap the round button at the bottom center to open the Go to panel, then tap Earnings ("Your pay + completed jobs") under Reports.
Pull down on the screen to refresh the numbers.
This Week
The This Week section shows the current Monday-to-Sunday week, with the dates next to the heading.
- Hours worked: your paid time on the clock this week, with breaks already taken off, plus how many shifts that covers. Hours from a shift you're still clocked into aren't added until you clock out. The shift count does include it.
- Est. wages: your hours × your hourly rate, for example "@ $22/hr". This card only appears if your shop has saved an hourly rate for you.
Est. wages is only a quick estimate. It doesn't include overtime or double time. Your shop's payroll report uses the overtime rules set by the owner, so the number on your paycheck can be different.
This Month
The This Month section covers the current calendar month, named next to the heading (for example, "October 2026").
- Jobs completed: appointments assigned to you that were marked completed this month.
- Tips earned: tips recorded for you this month, plus how many tips that was. If there aren't any yet, it says "No tips yet".
- Commission earned: the commission your shop has recorded for you this month, split into unpaid and paid. If nothing has been recorded, you'll see "No commission entries this month."
Commission only appears here after your manager or owner records it on your team profile. Commission moves from unpaid to paid when they mark it paid there. Completing a job doesn't add commission here by itself.
Your Pay Rates
If your shop has saved an hourly rate or a commission percentage for you, the Your Pay Rates card at the bottom shows them, for example Hourly rate $22/hr and Commission 10%. These are set on your team profile by an Owner or Admin. If something looks wrong, ask them to check it.
For managers: the Tech Pay screen
Owners, Admins and Managers with access to financial reports also get a Tech Pay tile ("Commission by pay period") in the Go to panel under Reports. My Earnings shows only your own pay. Tech Pay shows every tech's commission for This week, Last week, This month or Last month, worked out from completed jobs and your shop's commission rule. It only calculates and never pays anyone. See Setting up Tech Pay commission rules.
If the screen won't load
If you see "Couldn't load earnings", check your connection and tap Retry.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Why is my Est. wages different from my paycheck?
A: Est. wages is just this week's clocked hours × your hourly rate. It doesn't include overtime or double time, and your shop's payroll may include commission and tips too.
Q: Why don't I see an Est. wages card?
A: It only appears when your shop has saved an hourly rate for you. Ask an Owner or Admin to add one to your team profile.
Q: I finished a job today. Why didn't my commission go up?
A: Commission only appears in My Earnings once your manager or owner records it on your team profile. Completing a job counts toward Jobs completed, but doesn't add commission by itself.
Q: Does my current shift count toward Hours worked?
A: Not yet. Hours from a shift are added once you clock out. A shift you're still on counts toward the shift total, though.
Q: Can my coworkers see my earnings here?
A: No. My Earnings only ever shows the signed-in person's own numbers.
