Native iOS and Android apps are in late-stage beta right now — this article covers what's real today, so mobile access is already set up correctly the moment the app ships.
What's live today vs. what's coming
Mobile access itself is real and configurable today. Your shop admin can already decide who gets Installer, Sales, Full, or No access on mobile, and that setting will be waiting and ready the moment the app is available to install.
The app itself isn't publicly downloadable yet. There's no App Store or Play Store listing today, and no install link for an admin to hand a new teammate. Open your account menu (top right of the web app) and you'll see the honest current status: "Native iOS + Android apps in late-stage beta," with an option to get notified the moment they ship.
Mobile access levels
There are three mobile access levels a team member can be assigned, plus "No access":
- Installer — today's jobs, photos, clock in/out
- Sales — customers, quotes, new quote
- Full access — Installer + Sales side
- No access — can't log into the mobile app at all
How your admin sets your mobile access
Worth setting up now, even before the app ships, so it's already correct the moment you (or your team) can actually install it.
When your admin invites you, they go to Settings → Team. The Members tab is what opens by default — that's where invites and mobile access both live (the separate Permissions tab next to it is for shop-level permission groups, not mobile access, so that's not where to look).
From there they click Invite Member, which opens the "Invite a team member" card. That form asks for:
- Email address
- Role (Owner, Admin, Manager, Technician, Front Desk, or Service Writer)
- Mobile app access — a dropdown right in the same form, defaulted to a sensible starting point for the role they picked (e.g. Technician defaults to Installer, Front Desk defaults to Sales)
In other words, mobile access isn't a separate task your admin has to remember to circle back and do later — it's a field in the invite form itself, set at the same time as everything else, before they hit Send invite.
If it ever needs to change afterward — a promotion, a role swap, whatever — admins can update it anytime without re-inviting anyone. Further down the same Members tab is a Mobile App Access card listing every current team member with their own dropdown next to their name, so access can be adjusted in a couple of clicks.
Getting notified when the app ships
From your account menu, open the mobile app card and tap the notify option there — you'll hear as soon as real App Store and Play Store links go live. We'll update this article with the actual install and first-sign-in steps at that point.
