Guided online booking turns your public booking page into the same priced walk-through as your Sales Matrix kiosk. Instead of booking "Window tint" at a flat price, the customer picks what they actually want and sees your price for each choice before they pick a time. It's part of the Growth plan and up.
What the customer sees
After they choose their services, the booking page walks them through each one:
- Window tint — their vehicle type (only if your tint prices change by vehicle), the windows you offer online, and a film, with your price shown for every option.
- Ceramic coating — a coating package, then an optional paint correction add-on.
- PPF — a coverage level. Custom, panel-by-panel PPF isn't offered online; the page tells the customer you'll quote it at the shop.
- Other services like detailing or wrap accents — one or more items from the matching Additional Services category in your Sales Matrix (one of each item).
Then they pick a time as usual. The booking's line items carry what they chose (for example "Window tint · Ceramic Plus · Sides & back, Windshield · Mid / large SUV"), so your team sees the job exactly as it was sold.
Where the prices come from
Every price comes from your Sales Matrix — the same film prices, vehicle-type prices, ceramic and PPF packages and Additional Services items your kiosk uses, including any promo % you've set. A screen you've switched off on the kiosk (window tint, ceramic coating, PPF or Additional Services) stays off online too, and those services book at their regular price. Set those up under Settings → Sales Matrix first. Your rep-only "highest" and "lowest" prices are never shown to customers. SalesThumb works out the price again when the booking is saved, so nobody can change a price in their browser.
It's automatic
There's no switch: on the Growth plan and up, guided booking runs for any booked service your Sales Matrix prices. To fine-tune it, go to Settings → Online Booking and find the Guided online booking card:
- Under Windows customers can pick, tick the window options you want to sell online. Leave them all unticked to offer every option you've priced.
- Under Ceramic coating & PPF, the card shows how many packages your Sales Matrix has and which of your services open each step. Automatic uses services named "ceramic" or "coating" (window tint services are never picked) and services in the PPF category. Choose Pick services to choose them yourself.
- Under More services, each Additional Services category shows its item count and which of your services open it — automatically by name (a "Detailing" category opens your detail services, a "...wrap..." category your wrap services) or the services you pick.
- Click Save guided booking.
If Show pricing on your public booking page is off, the guided steps don't show — a priced picker doesn't make sense with prices hidden.
The book-today price
A book-today price rewards customers who commit now. It applies when the customer books online before your cutoff — the Today-only expires at time in your Sales Matrix settings (6 PM unless you changed it) — for an appointment within the number of days you set under Holds for appointments in the next (14 by default).
- A film or package with its own today only price uses that price.
- Everything else uses the % off for online bookings you set on the card (1–50). Leave it blank to turn the % off.
When a book-today price is available, the customer sees a Book today and save box with the deadline. If they tick it, the booking is labelled "(book-today price)" so your team knows why it's lower.

Q: Which plan includes guided online booking?
A: Growth and up — the same plans that include the Sales Matrix kiosk. On other plans your booking page keeps working the simple way, with each service at its flat price.
Q: Can a customer change the price they pay?
A: No. The booking page never sends a price; SalesThumb prices the booking again from your Sales Matrix when it's saved.
