Watch: How to find quotes that are going stale in SalesThumb (0:51)

A quote that sits too long usually turns into a lost sale. The Quote Aging report shows which open quotes are getting old, so you know who to call first.

Open the report

  1. In the sidebar, click Reports, then switch to Detail.
  2. At the bottom of the list on the left, under Pipeline, click Quote Aging.

Read quotes by age

Your open quotes are grouped by how many days ago you created them: 0-7, 8-14, 15-30, 31-60 and 60+ days. Each group shows how many quotes are in it and their total value.

Open means Draft, Sent or Viewed. Approved, declined, expired and converted quotes aren't included.

Find the ones to follow up

Below the groups, every open quote is listed with the customer, quote number, age and status. Viewed means the customer opened it but hasn't said yes yet, so those are the best ones to follow up on. Quotes 15 days and older are where deals start to go cold, so work down from the oldest.

Who can see it: Owners, Admins and Managers, by default.
