The Products screen in the SalesThumb mobile app lets owners and managers look up anything in the shop's catalog from their phone: services, kiosk packages, film SKUs and inventory items. It's for browsing and checking details. Adding or changing a product still happens on the web.
Opening Products
Tap the round thumb button at the bottom of the screen to open Go to, then tap Products under Operations. Owners, admins and managers can open it. Anyone else sees "Manager access needed".
Finding a product
- Type in Search products or brand… to search by name or brand.
- The Active only switch is on when the screen opens. Turn it off to include hidden products. Hidden ones carry a Hidden tag.
Tap the Source filter to show one kind of product. The choices are All sources, Service, Tint · Kiosk, Ceramic · Kiosk, PPF · Kiosk, Flat Glass · Home, Flat Glass · Biz, Film SKU and Inventory, each with a count.
Each card shows the product name, a pill for where it comes from, the brand and category, and the price.
Product details
Tap a card to open the product. The top shows the name, an Active or Hidden pill, the brand, the Base price and the product type. Under Details you'll find the SKU, Cost, Duration and whether it's Taxable, plus any description.
Where it's sold lists each place the product appears, such as invoices and quotes, the kiosk or inventory. Tap Edit on web on a row to open that record in your browser. The button at the bottom opens the full editor on the web, where you can rename, reprice, or add and remove those places.
Some older catalog rows aren't linked to a product record yet. Tapping an inventory one opens its inventory item screen if your plan includes inventory. Any other one opens a small sheet with the brand, category, price and status, and an Edit on the web button.
Adding a product
The banner at the top explains that adding a product touches pricing, the kiosk and inventory together, so that form lives on the web. Tap Add a product on web to open it. For how the catalog fits together, see The unified Products catalog, from search to CSV import.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I add or edit a product from my phone?
A: Not yet. The mobile Products screen is browse and view only. Tap Add a product on web, or Edit on web on a product, to make changes in your browser.
Q: Why can't I see a product I know exists?
A: Check the Active only switch. When it's on, hidden products are left out. Also check that the Source filter is set to All sources.
