Getting there
Invoices lives in the left rail under Customer flow, sitting between Sales and Customers. Click it and you land on the full invoice list for your shop. From there, New Invoice in the top-right corner starts a blank invoice, and clicking anywhere on a row (other than its checkbox) opens that invoice's detail page.
What the summary cards tell you
Three cards sit above the table: Accounts Receivable (total outstanding balance), Revenue Collected (total paid), and Total Invoices (count). Normally these are calculated on the server across your whole filtered result set — not just the rows currently loaded on screen — so the dollar totals stay accurate even before you've clicked "Load more." All three cards respect whatever status filter or search term you have active. (The one exception is the overdue shortcut described below, where all three switch to page-only totals.)
Searching, filtering, and the overdue shortcut
The search box matches on invoice number or customer name. The Status dropdown lets you narrow to one status at a time: All statuses, Not sent, Sent, Partial, Paid, Void, or Refunded. "Not sent" is the friendly label for a draft invoice — it's a deliberate reminder that the customer hasn't actually received it yet.
There's also an overdue view, but you won't find a button for it on this page — it's reached by clicking the "Invoices overdue 30+ days" tile on the Dashboard, which deep-links here with the filter already applied. When it's active you'll see an amber "Overdue 30+ days" chip next to the filters with an X to clear it. While that filter is on, all three summary cards change meaning: "Accounts Receivable" and "Revenue Collected" become totals over what's currently loaded on screen (Revenue Collected relabels itself "Revenue Collected (visible)" to flag this), and "Total Invoices" becomes "Overdue Invoices" — none of them are a full server-side sum anymore, since this is a narrow dashboard shortcut rather than a first-class filter.
Selecting invoices and using bulk actions
Check the box on one or more rows (or the header checkbox to select everything currently shown) and a bulk action bar appears above the filters: Mark paid, Mark sent, Void, and Delete. Delete asks you to confirm first, since the confirmation dialog reads "This cannot be undone." Clear on the right of the bar deselects everything without taking any action.
Each row's status is shown as a color-coded badge — blue for Paid, gray for Sent, amber for Partial, red for Void or Refunded, and an outlined "Not sent" for drafts. Partial gets its own amber treatment specifically so you can tell at a glance which invoices still have a balance owed, rather than blending in with Sent. Hover any badge for a one-line explanation of what that status means. The Open Balance column shows an em dash instead of $0.00 once an invoice is fully Paid.
A couple of things to know before you rely on it
Invoices load 50 at a time. If you have more than that, a Load more (N remaining) button appears at the bottom of the table, and the footer tells you how many of the total you've loaded so far. Changing your search term or status filter resets that loaded set back to the first 50. Also worth knowing: if you've clicked "Load more" and then run a bulk action (mark paid, void, delete, etc.), the extra pages you'd loaded get cleared out afterward — only the first page auto-refreshes, so you may need to load more again to see the rest. If you land on an empty list, you'll see either "New Invoice" or "View Quotes" as your next step — the latter is there because invoices are commonly created by converting an approved quote rather than starting from scratch.
