The Inventory section of HQ Reports shows what stock is worth in each shop, and which items are running low across the network. It needs the HQ add-on.
Where to find it
Open Reports under Insights in the HQ sidebar, click Detail, then pick Inventory (subtitled "Stock value and reorder alerts"). Both cards are live snapshots. The date range at the top doesn't change them.
Inventory Value
The card is described as "On-hand x unit cost across active SKUs." It shows:
- Total Value for the network and Total SKUs.
- One row per shop with its SKU count, its value by category, and its total.
If no shop tracks inventory, the card says No inventory tracked. This card needs financial reports access.
Low Stock, All Shops
The card is headed Low Stock - All Shops and described as "SKUs at or below their minimum on-hand threshold." Each row shows the item name, the shop, the category and SKU, and the count as on hand over minimum, for example 2 / 5. When nothing is low, the card says Everything is stocked.
Request a transfer
If cross-location transfers are on for your org, and you are an Org Owner or Admin, each low-stock row has a Request transfer link. It opens HQ's Inventory Transfers page with a new transfer already started: the low shop is pre-filled as the receiving location, and the item is picked once you choose a sending shop that has it.
Then work the transfer as usual. See Transferring inventory between your shop locations.
If you don't see the link, transfers are probably off. Turn them on in HQ Settings, under Inventory Transfers (Enable cross-location transfers).

Q: Does the date range change these cards?
A: No. Both Inventory cards show stock as it is right now.
Q: Why is there no Request transfer link?
A: The link needs cross-location transfers turned on in HQ Settings, and an Org Owner or Org Admin role.
Q: What does 2 / 5 mean on a low stock row?
A: The shop has 2 on hand and the item's minimum is 5.
Q: Does Request transfer move any stock?
A: No. It only starts a transfer request. Stock moves when the transfer is marked received.
