If you're running more than a couple of locations, checking ShopMonkey health shop-by-shop in each one's Settings gets old fast. HQ's Integrations page rolls every shop's ShopMonkey connection into one screen — connected or not, healthy or erroring, and how much data has actually synced — so you can answer "are we green across the chain?" without opening a single shop.
Where to find it
From your HQ dashboard sidebar, open the Admin group and click Integrations. You need to be viewing the org through HQ, not a single shop — see the "Switching between your locations and the HQ dashboard view" article if you're not sure how to get there. Your organization also needs the HQ add-on active; this page lives inside the same HQ router as the rest of the HQ dashboard. Any member of the org who can reach HQ can open it — there's no separate admin-only permission gate on this particular page.
There's also a shortcut in: if any shop's ShopMonkey sync is currently erroring, a red "ShopMonkey integrations need attention" card appears on the HQ dashboard itself, listing which shops and why. Its "Open integrations rollup" link drops you straight onto this page. That card only shows up when something's actually broken — it hides itself completely when every connected shop is syncing fine, so it won't nag you during a rollout when some locations simply haven't connected yet.
Reading the summary badges
At the top of the ShopMonkey card you'll see a row of badges:
- X healthy — shops with an active connection whose last sync didn't error. This includes shops that are connected but haven't run a sync yet.
- X erroring — shops with an active connection whose last sync came back with an error. Only shown when at least one shop is in this state.
- X unconnected — shops with no active ShopMonkey connection at all. Also only shown when the count is above zero.
- X shops total — every shop in the org, connected or not.
A fully healthy network just shows the healthy and total badges — the erroring and unconnected badges disappear entirely once their count hits zero, rather than sitting there reading "0."
What each shop's row shows
Below the badges is one row per shop, alphabetical by name, each with its own status: Connected, Error, or Not connected. Under the shop name you'll see its city and state, plus the ShopMonkey display name it connected with, if one was set.
For any connected shop, five tiles show what's actually synced: Parts, Customers, Vehicles, Appointments, and Invoices. The big number in each tile is a real cumulative count — for customers, vehicles, appointments, and invoices it's checked against your live synced records, so deleting a batch of records on your end doesn't leave orphaned leftovers inflating the total. Underneath, in small text, is how many rows the *last* sync touched and how long ago that was — for invoices specifically, that delta is usually small on routine re-syncs even with thousands already imported, since invoice import is write-once, not a sign anything was lost.
Any one of the five tiles gets a dashed border if that specific entity type has never synced, even if the shop overall shows Connected and the other four tiles are populated — worth checking if a shop looks fine at a glance but one number seems oddly low. And if a shop's last sync actually errored, its row shows a "Last error" banner underneath with the raw error message, so you don't have to open the shop just to see what broke.
Jumping into a shop from here
Each row has a button on the right — Open settings for a connected shop, Connect for one that isn't. Either one switches your active shop to that location first, then takes you to that shop's own ShopMonkey settings page. That's deliberate: the shop-level ShopMonkey page reads whichever shop you currently have active, not a URL parameter, so without the switch you could end up pasting one location's API key into a different location's connection. This rollup handles the switch for you so that mistake isn't possible from here.
Once you land there, it's the same ShopMonkey settings page covered in "Connecting integrations and checking connection health" — paste the API key, test it, and connect (or review sync status and diagnostics if it's already connected). The HQ page itself doesn't let you connect, disconnect, or edit anything directly — it's read-only for status, and a launchpad into the shop that needs attention.
What this doesn't cover
Today this rollup is ShopMonkey-only. It's structured so more integrations could get their own card here later, but right now ShopMonkey is the only one that shows up. If the org has no shops at all yet, the card just says so and points you to HQ's Locations page to add one.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How do I see which of my locations have ShopMonkey connected without checking each one?
A: Open your HQ dashboard's sidebar, go to the Admin group, and click Integrations. It shows every shop in the org with a Connected / Error / Not connected status, plus real counts of what's synced for Parts, Customers, Vehicles, Appointments, and Invoices on each connected shop.
Q: What's the difference between "healthy" and "connected" in the summary badges?
A: Connected just means the shop has an active ShopMonkey connection. Healthy means it's connected AND its last sync didn't come back with an error — a connected shop that's never run a sync yet still counts as healthy, not erroring.
Q: Why does one of a shop's tiles (like Appointments) look different from the others?
A: A tile gets a dashed border when that specific entity type has never synced for that shop, even if the shop overall shows Connected and its other tiles are populated. Check the "ago" text under that tile to confirm.
Q: Can I connect or disconnect ShopMonkey for a shop directly from this HQ page?
A: No. This page is status-only. Clicking Connect or Open settings switches your active shop and takes you to that shop's own ShopMonkey settings page, where the actual connect/disconnect controls live.
Q: I don't see an erroring or unconnected badge — is the page broken?
A: No — those two badges only appear when their count is above zero. If every connected shop is healthy and nothing is unconnected, you'll just see the healthy and total badges.
