Reports is where all your shop's numbers live — everything from revenue and sales tax to installer performance and inventory. It can look like a lot at first, so here's a first look at how the page is put together and how to get to the date range you actually want.
Dashboard or Detail — pick your view
At the top right of the page you'll see two buttons: Dashboard and Detail. Dashboard is what opens by default.
Dashboard lays out every report as a card, grouped into the same categories you'll see everywhere else on the page. A handful of "hero" cards — Revenue Overview, Appointment Stats, New Customers, and Installer Leaderboard — show a live number as soon as your data loads. The rest of the cards show the report name and open the full report when you click through. If you've starred anything, a Favorites row sits at the top of Dashboard, above everything else.
Detail switches to a two-pane layout: a categorized list of every report on the left, and the full table or chart for whichever one you've selected on the right.
Setting your date range
Above both views, a filter bar shows a row of pills labeled Today, 7 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days, YTD, 1 Year, and Custom. Whichever one is selected controls the date range for every report and card on the page. When you first open Reports, 30 Days is the active pill, and the exact span (e.g., "Jun 22 — Jul 22") shows on the right side of the same row.
### Using a custom range
Click Custom and two date fields appear on the right side of that same row — a start-date box and an end-date box, with a small arrow between them. The Today / 7 Days / 30 Days / 90 Days / YTD / 1 Year pills don't disappear or get replaced — they stay exactly where they are on the left, with Custom simply highlighted as the active choice. Pick your two dates in the fields and every report on the page updates to match.
Finding a specific report
In Detail view, the left-hand sidebar organizes every report into 14 categories — Financial, Sales, Operations, Staff, Customers, Inventory, Warranty, Marketing, Liability, Vehicle, Retention, Scheduling, Staff Admin, and Pipeline — 70 reports in all, already listed under their category headings (there's nothing to expand or click to reveal them). Click a report name and most reports load right there in the pane on the right. A handful — Royalties, Processing Fees, Transactions, Deposits, and Chargebacks — open as their own full page instead, so don't be surprised if one of those takes you off the Reports page entirely.
Financial is the biggest group by far, with 15 reports in it — things like Revenue Overview, Payment Methods, Sales Tax, Transactions, Processing Fees, Chargebacks, AR Aging, Year-over-Year, and the 4-Week Trend are all in there alongside several others.
Saving favorites
Hover over a report name in the sidebar, or over a card on Dashboard, and a star icon appears. Click it to pin that report to a Favorites section that shows up at the top of both Dashboard and Detail, so the reports you check most aren't buried in a category list. This is saved on the device and browser you're using, not to your account, so it won't follow you to a different computer.
Exporting the numbers
Several reports — Daily Revenue, Sales Tax, Gross Profit per Job, Commission Report, Payroll Summary, Supplies Usage, and Time Clock Log among them — have a CSV button near the top of the card that downloads the underlying rows. Not every report has this yet, so if you don't see it, the numbers on screen are still the full picture for that report and date range.
