Every completed job, quote, and payment in your shop can end up on a screen in the lobby. The Scoreboard is a real-data leaderboard-and-ticker view built specifically to run on a TV: big numbers, a slate color palette that works in light or dark, and no clicking required — you glance at it, you don't work from it.
Getting to the Scoreboard
The Scoreboard doesn't have its own item in the left sidebar. Instead, it lives as a tab inside Growth & Marketing: open the sidebar, click Growth & Marketing, then click the Scoreboard tab (next to Growth, Operations, and AI Assistant). From there, click Open standalone — the small link with the external-link icon next to the tab strip — to pop out the dedicated full-page version at `/app/scoreboard`. That standalone URL drops the Growth hub's tab strip and the "Grow Your Shop" page header, so the Scoreboard becomes the only content on the page below the header — but it still loads inside the normal app shell (left sidebar, top search bar, notifications bell, AI help, theme toggle, etc.), the same as every other page in the app. There's no chrome-free "TV mode" built in: whatever screen you point at `/app/scoreboard` will show the sidebar and header alongside the scoreboard itself, so plan your lobby TV or tablet setup with that in mind. You can also jump straight there from anywhere in the app with Cmd+K: search "Scoreboard" (or "leaderboard," "ranking," "goals") and hit enter.
What's on screen
Across the top are four KPI cards — Revenue, Jobs done, Techs active, and Avg ticket — for whatever period is selected. Three toggle buttons in the header switch between Today, This week, and This month; Today is the default every time the page loads. Two display quirks worth knowing: first, every dollar figure on this page — including Revenue and Avg ticket even under $1,000 — is already rounded to the nearest whole dollar with no cents shown, so it never matches a penny-exact total you'd see on an invoice or report elsewhere in the app. Second, once revenue crosses $1,000, the Revenue KPI additionally switches to a compact format like "$1.2k" instead of spelling out the full number (and rounds to whole thousands above $10,000). Both are intentional for legibility across a room, but worth knowing so the TV number isn't mistaken for an exact total.
Below the KPIs is the Leaderboard card. When there's data, the top 3 techs get a medal podium (🥇🥈🥉) showing their job count and revenue, followed by a full ranked table with columns for rank, tech (plus their assigned resource/bay name if one is set), jobs, average ticket, and revenue. If nothing qualifies yet, you'll see a dashed-border empty state reading "No completed jobs yet today — your scoreboard will populate as work finishes." That message always says "today," even if you've switched the toggle to This week or This month — don't read it as the scoreboard being broken for those longer periods, it's just static copy.
Next to the leaderboard is the Live activity panel, a 30-second-polling ticker covering four kinds of events: job started, job completed, quote sent, and payment received. Each row shows an icon, a title, an optional detail line, a relative timestamp ("just now," "5m ago," "2h ago," etc.), and a dollar amount when one applies. There's no filtering and nothing is clickable here — by design, it's meant to be glanced at, not drilled into. If no events have happened yet, it just says "No recent activity yet."
Keeping it fresh unattended
Both the leaderboard and the activity ticker refetch automatically every 30 seconds, so once the standalone page is loaded on a lobby TV you can leave it running — no manual refresh needed. The clock in the top-right corner is tied to that same refresh cycle rather than ticking every second, so don't be surprised if it looks a few seconds behind real time between refreshes; it updates whenever the dashboard pulls new data, not continuously. There's no plan-tier or role restriction visible on this page or its Growth hub tab — if you can reach Growth & Marketing, you can reach the Scoreboard.
