ACH Setup holds the bank details HQ uses to build a NACHA ACH file for royalty collection. There are two parts: the accounts that receive the money, and the accounts at each franchisee location that the file debits. This page is part of the +HQ add-on. For when and how a file is generated, see How royalty calculation and collection work in HQ tier.
Getting there
Open Royalty in your HQ dashboard and click ACH Setup at the top right. You can also click the ACH Setup tile in HQ Settings. Only org owners and admins can edit. Everyone else sees masked details and "View only — ask an org owner or admin to edit."
Setup status
A bar at the top counts progress, for example "1/3 destination accounts configured" and "4/6 shops with bank info".
Your destination accounts
Three cards sit side by side: Royalty & Fees, National Marketing Fund and Local Marketing Company. Set up the ones that match how you collect. The marketing accounts only matter if your royalty rule charges those fees. One account is enough if you route everything to a single account.
Each card asks for:
- Chase Account Number
- ABA Routing Number (9 digits)
- Account Holder Name
- Entry Description (up to 20 characters) and a CCD or PPD choice
Click Save. After saving, the card shows only the last four digits, with an Edit button.
Pausing an account
Each account has an Enabled / Paused switch. A paused account is kept but "left out of ACH files until turned back on." A Paused badge shows on the card.
Franchisee bank accounts
The Franchisee Bank Accounts table lists every shop with Shop, Location, Store #, Status, Account and Routing. These are the accounts the ACH file will debit.
- Click Add on the shop's row. (It reads Edit once details exist.)
- Enter Account Holder Name, Routing Number and Account Number.
- Choose the Account Type: Checking (27) or Savings (37).
- Optionally fill Location (optional) and Store # (optional).
- Click Save bank info.
The Status shows Configured, Missing or Re-enter. A shop can also be switched to paused, which leaves it out of the file.
If a saved account can't be read
The page shows "Couldn't read the saved account — re-enter it." Enter the details again and save.
