What it does
Fill My Slow Days looks at your upcoming calendar — your shop's configured working hours minus any blackouts — and compares it to what's actually booked over a window you choose (default: the next 14 days). Any day that comes in at or under your "slow" threshold (default 50% booked) gets flagged as a slow day. For those flagged days, it also puts together a win-back campaign: a shortlist of past customers ranked by recency of last visit, a suggested limited-time offer, and ready-to-edit SMS and email drafts.
It's read-only end to end. Running a scan never messages, books, enrolls, or changes anything in your customer, quote, invoice, payment, or appointment records — it only reads your calendar and customer history and drafts copy for you to review and send yourself.
Where to find it
There's no dedicated "AI Tools" entry in the sidebar — that hub was removed from the main rail. To reach Fill My Slow Days: open Growth & Marketing in the sidebar (under "Run the shop"), then switch to its AI Assistant tab — that tab loads the same AI Tools hub, and Fill My Slow Days is one of the cards there, grouped under "Sell & convert" alongside things like Quote Suggest and Re-engagement. It currently carries a "New" tag on that card. You can also reach the hub directly at `/app/ai`, or open this tool directly at `/app/ai/fill-slow-days`. Note that this tool isn't currently indexed in the Cmd+K command palette, so searching for it there won't surface it yet.
Running a scan
Nothing loads automatically when you open the page. Set your three inputs — Days ahead (1–30, defaults to 14), Slow at ≤ % (1–99, defaults to 50), and Max targets (1–50, defaults to 15) — then click "Find slow days & draft a campaign." The button switches to a spinner and "Scanning your calendar…" while the scan runs.
If no slow days come back, that doesn't necessarily mean your calendar is healthy — the empty state on the page explicitly notes it could also mean your business hours haven't been set up yet, and links directly to your business hours settings (/app/settings/booking). Check that before assuming you're fully booked, or widen the threshold to surface more days.
Reading the results
Each slow day shows its date, how many open slots remain, and a "% booked" badge. The badge uses a three-color scale: blue for the days with the most open capacity (25% booked or less), amber for the middle of the range (26–50% booked), and green for days that are more heavily booked (over 50%). At the default 50% slow threshold you'll mostly see blue and amber badges — green only shows up if you raise the threshold above 50%. Once a scan comes back with at least one slow day, two more cards appear: "Win-back campaign drafts" (an editable suggested offer, SMS draft, and email draft) and "Customers to invite back" — the actual target customers, each showing their last-visit date and a one-line reason they were picked. If there are no past paying customers to target, that card tells you to use the drafts manually instead.
Live vs. stub mode
A badge in the header reads "● Live" or "● Stub mode" depending on whether the shop has an ANTHROPIC_API_KEY configured. In stub mode, an amber banner reminds you that the AI-written parts — the offer, SMS, email copy, and each customer's one-line reason — are stub text, but the slow days, open-slot counts, utilization percentages, and the target customer list itself are always pulled live from your real calendar and customer data either way. After a scan finishes, a small summary line under the button also states how many slow days and target customers came back and whether that run used the live model or stub output.
Getting the campaign out the door
Nothing sends automatically. The offer, SMS, and email drafts are plain editable text boxes, so tweak them as needed, then either use the copy button next to a draft to paste it into your own SMS/email tool, or click "Send as Blast" to push that draft and the matched customer list straight into /app/blasts as a prefilled campaign. The "Send as Blast" buttons are disabled whenever there are zero target customers, so you'll need at least one match on the list before they activate.
