Founding 50 has been sitting in the badge under the hero on /pricing for weeks, and the tier cards below it show the discounted price. We've answered questions about it in the pricing FAQ. What we hadn't done is write it up anywhere on its own, so here it is: what the offer actually is, what it costs, who qualifies, and how to claim it.
What the offer actually is
The first 50 shops to sign up and maintain active merchant services through SalesThumb lock in 50% off Growth or Pro for the first 12 months. After month 12, the price goes back to full — there's no reduced-rate tail running into year two or three.
"Maintain active merchant services" is doing real work in that sentence. This isn't a one-time signup bonus — it's tied to staying on SalesThumb's payment processing, not just creating an account.
What it costs
- Growth: $399/mo normally, $199/mo for your first 12 months under Founding 50.
- Pro: $599/mo normally, $299/mo for your first 12 months under Founding 50.
Who qualifies
- One of the first 50 shops to sign up.
- On Growth or Pro. Basic and Starter aren't part of this program — see below for what they get instead.
- Maintaining active merchant services through SalesThumb for the discount to keep applying.
If you're looking at Basic or Starter
Those two tiers carry a separate offer: 20% off your first 3 months, open to every new Basic or Starter shop. No 50-shop cap, no merchant-services condition. It's a different program with a different length, not a smaller version of Founding 50 — don't expect it to stack with anything above.
How to claim it
The discount isn't applied automatically at checkout. Reach out via /contact once you're ready to subscribe on Growth or Pro and we'll set the discount up on your account.
One thing we're deliberately not doing here: publishing a running count of how many of the 50 spots are filled. We don't have a live counter for that anywhere in the product, so we're not going to put a number on this page that we can't back up. If you want to know where things stand before you commit, ask us directly.
